The International Pierre de Coubertin Committee (IPCC) is proud to announce the Japanese electronic edition of the book “Pierre de Coubertin the Visionary: His Life, His Work, His Key Texts”. The French original text by Jean DURRY has been translated into Japanese to honor the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, Tokyo 2020. This publication is the result of collaboration between the IPCC and the Japanese Pierre de Coubertin Committee. A special chapter is dedicated to the relationship between Pierre de Coubertin and Jigoro Kano, first Japanese IOC member in 1909 and founder of the sport of judo.
