The International Pierre de Coubertin Committee (IPCC) is proud to announce the new schools recognised by the national Pierre de Coubertin committees of Africa that will join the International Network of Pierre de Coubertin Schools in 2025. We would like to thank the president of the Association of National Pierre de Coubertin Committees of Africa, Dr Malik Evele, who worked tirelessly alongside his colleagues to initiate and develop this project successfully since 2022.  Dr Evele was elected IPCC Vice-President for Education and Culture at our 2024 General Assembly.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the teachers at our Pierre de Coubertin school in Oaxaca, Mexico, for their efforts in creating the design that illustrates the countries where Pierre de Coubertin schools have been established in 1997, when the IPCC launched its educational programme inspired by Coubertin’s vision of the Olympic Movement.
