INTERDISCIPLINARY PROJECT ON OLYMPIC EDUCATION
During 20 months (2002/2003), 50 pupils from form 11Sp devoted themselves to this project, which involved the subjects English, French, history, art, computer sciences, and sports theory.

One Approach of Meeting the IOC’s Demand of Teaching Olympic Values in Schools
The IOC officially declared the year 2013 as Pierre de Coubertin Year, honouring Pierre de Coubertin’s works as founder of the modern Olympic Movement, as a pedagogue, who was convinced of the importance of sport in the development of youth, and as an enthusiastic promoter of the Olympic values.

THE EDUCATIONAL VALUE OF GOOD EXAMPLES - CREATING THE COUBERTIN PUZZLE
At the end of the official Coubertin Year a solemn ceremony was held at Pierre de Coubertin Sports School Erfurt (Germany) on December 16th 2013 to celebrate the inauguration of a huge Coubertin Puzzle. Six young high competitive athletes created 24 canvas (2,00mx3,00m) in different tech-niques showing a large portrait of the young Coubertin as well as several famous quotations and symbols of the Olympic movement.
