This inaugural lecture for educators from the IPCC network of Coubertin schools explores the dynamic intersection of AI and Olympic values education. The session will highlight how AI can foster more personalized, immersive, and inclusive learning experiences-while also confronting pressing challenges related to ethics, equity, and the preservation of human connection at the heart of education. The session will highlight opportunities for AI to enhance Olympic education-such as adaptive learning, virtual reality experiences, and global accessibility-while also addressing risks like loss of human interaction, data privacy, and digital divides. The goal is to ensure that innovation serves to uphold, rather than undermine, the core values of excellence, respect, and friendship that define the Olympic Movement. This online event marks a key step in shaping a forward-looking vision for Olympic values education, one that bridges Coubertin’s timeless principles with 21st-century innovation.

As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation in Olympic values education, the International Pierre de Coubertin Committee (IPCC) is proud to announce the development of three follow-up workshops for teachers across the global Coubertin School network. These workshops will provide hands-on exploration of responsible AI tools and methods, empowering educators to integrate technology thoughtfully into values-based Olympic education.
