12^thInternational Pierre de Coubertin Youth Forum

From 24^th– 31^stof August 2019, the French town of Mâcon was the site of the 12^thInternational Pierre de Coubertin Youth Forum having students from numerous Coubertin Schools across the world. 

Following Coubertin’s idea of peace and friendship among nations, the International Pierre de Coubertin committee (CIPC) organises its Youth Forums every two years in a different country. Since Le Havre 1997, 12 International Youth Forums with more than 1,200 participants overall have taken place. 

This event had been carefully prepared over a period of two years and became a successful intensive course on Olympic education thanks to the close cooperation between the International Pierre de Coubertin Committee (CIPC), Comité Départemental Olympique et Sportif de Saône-et-Loire (CDOS 71), the host of this edition, and the French Pierre de Coubertin Committee.
