During the Olympic month of June, the President of the Pierre de Coubertin National Committee of Cameroon, Dr Malik Atour Evele, presided over a series of institutional meetings and cultural events. This year, the Committee is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Pierre de Coubertin National Committee of Cameroon and preparations are underway to commemorate this historic moment. The main event takes place on 4 December and includes the inaugural presentation of the Pierre de Coubertin Trophy.

President Evele dedicated the celebration of the Olympic week to science by organising the 9th edition of the Olympic Scientific Forum “Conditioning in the preparation process for sports performance”. The Forum brought together representatives of the scientific community, sports federations and the media.   

Among many other events, there has been a restructuring of the national Pierre de Coubertin committee, with the addition of new functions and responsibilities, as well as new members.We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the President, Malik Atour Evele, for his dinamisme and for his excellent communication initiatives which keep all the members of the African Continental Association of Pierre de Coubertin Committees well informed. Congratulations for the Olympic Gazette n°1.
