The Olympic Day in Colombia

The National Pierre de Coubertin Committee of Colombia celebrates every year events related to the Olympic Movement with no mistake. This time it was the Olympic Day, which the members of this Committee celebrated in universities and schools. The programme was based on the teaching and discussion of the Olympic values and on the organisation of sports events in different Colombian cities: Bogotá, Cali and Medellín.
For the second year in a row, they reactivated the Public Speaking on Olimpism workshop in the city of Medellin.
At the Prados Verdes School in Medellín, Colombia, students created and exhibited an artwork dedicated to Pierre de Coubertin. The 3D bust of Coubertin, made by the art students of the school, has been unveiled for the first time.We thank the members of the Colombian Pierre de Coubertin Committee for keeping Coubertinian heritage alive: Tomás Bolaño, President, Prof. Claudia Fernanda Rojas, Vice-President and Prof. Lina Vélez, Treasurer.
