Dr. Malik Atour Evele, President of the Association of National Pierre de Coubertin Committees of Africa, was received by Dr. Decius Shipande, Coordinator of the African Union Sports Council (AUSC), within the framework of an audience held at the AUSC headquarters in Yaoundé (Cameroon).

The meeting allowed the two officials to discuss the role of the National Pierre de Coubertin Committees and the projects which are underway within the African Union Sports Council. They also outlined the possibilities of future collaboration between the two organisations.The African Union Sports Council has taken note with great interest of the initiative taken by the National Pierre de Coubertin Committees of Africa to organize this year Sports and Cultural Olympiads of Africa, “OlympiAfrica 2023”. This event will take place in Yaoundé from 18 to 27 November 2023. Dr. Decius Shipande congratulated President Evele for all the projects that have already been undertaken by the Association and underlined the appreciation and support of the African Union Sports Council.
