The IOC Olympic Education Commission held its annual meeting on 23 November 2023 by zoom. Prof. Dr. Stephan Wassong, President of the International Pierre de Coubertin Committee (IPCC), has been a member of this Commission since 2015. He was impressed by the successful deliberations at the Commission meeting and by the large number of international projects and initiatives that were the subject of presentations and interesting discussions.

Prof. Wassong took an active part in the discussions. He presented to the members of the Commission the project developed by the IPCC in cooperation with the IOC Olympic Studies Centre. This project was highly appreciated by all members. It reflects the strengthening of the IPCC’s position in the growing Olympic education environment. This has been a point of appreciation for IOC President Thomas Bach.
